Friday Night After Party | The Blind Elephant
At UpTilt, we love great films—but we also know how to throw a great party. Festival pass holders and filmmakers are invited to keep the celebration going at Wilmington’s iconic speakeasy, The Blind Elephant, following our Dinner and a Movie Block on Friday, March 20th at 9:45pm.
As a pass holder, your night includes a complimentary specialty cocktail to toast the official kickoff of the festival. Slip into the spirit of the evening, mingle with filmmakers and fellow cinephiles, and raise a glass to an unforgettable weekend of film.
Filmmaker Brunch
Filmmakers are invited to join us for a relaxed brunch and roundtable conversation with fellow creatives before Saturday’s screenings begin on March 21st at 8:30am. We’ll gather at The Plaza on Princess at The Harrelson Center to share ideas, spark inspiration, and connect in community. It’s the perfect way to start the day—good food, great conversation, and a room full of storytellers—before we head into a full morning of films.

New to UpTilt? There’s no better way to dive in than at our most anticipated social event of the festival—our beloved "Tie One On" Low Country Boil, where everyone wears our custom UpTilt ties and comes hungry to the table!
Join us Saturday March 21st at 6:30pm at The Plaza on Princess at The Harrelson Center, where pass holders and filmmakers come together for an evening of connection. Browse and bid in our silent auction, enjoy live music, and raise a glass as we announce this year’s festival winners—all while mingling with fellow film lovers and creatives.
Feast on a classic Low Country Boil piled high with corn, shrimp, sausage, and potatoes (and yes, we’ve got delicious vegan and vegetarian options, too). It’s lively, it’s welcoming, and it’s pure UpTilt—come hungry and ready to celebrate.
