In 2026, Wilmington’s UpTilt Film Fest will proudly celebrate its 10th anniversary — a major milestone for North Carolina’s only women+ film festival. As we expand our local partnerships for this landmark year, we’re offering incredible sponsorship opportunities. UpTilt is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to showcasing short films by women and gender non-conforming filmmakers from around the world. Entirely volunteer-run, we are committed to championing inclusion and spotlighting diverse voices shaping the future of film.
Our 10th year will take place at Wilmington’s iconic Thalian Hall on March 20th-22nd, alongside dynamic social events throughout the city — offering sponsors meaningful visibility with creatives, cultural influencers, and an engaged local audience. Ray Gonzalez (they/them) is an emerging artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area, specializing in linoleum printmaking. Originally from South Florida, Ray has also lived in Wilmington and Winston-Salem, NC, before settling in Oakland, California. Their work is deeply rooted in their personal experiences and explores the themes of humanity and our relationship with the world around us. Through their art, Ray seeks to highlight the beauty of nature and inspire others to engage with the world—whether by spending time outdoors, embracing kindness, or fostering a sense of community.
